Interns Arrive on Campus

Today, seven eager interns arrive on the campus of Middlesex Health for their orientation to the hospital. The interns are participating in MARC’s pilot Project SEARCH venture. Project SEARCH is an international Transition-to-Work skill training program that takes place entirely at the workplace. Over the next nine months, interns will, through each of their three rotations, receive skills training and career exploration. The goal of the interns and of this program is that they are able to secure competitive employment at the hospital or at another local business. At the completion of the training program, 75% of program participants internationally find employment. Good luck interns!
